Pork Chilli is regarded as one of the most dynamic and versatile dishes which is easily doable in less time. It is regarded as a starter or a side dish to accompany noodles, rice, or time. It has built a status for itself in the market as an appetizer or a standalone snack. There are various ways of cooking it. However, we have compiled the simplest and easiest way of making the popular dish with less effort and time.

INGREDIENTS

1 kg pork belly or shoulder (5 cm logs)

300 g onions (3 cm squares)

200 g Bell papers

10g Garlic (Sliced)

20g Ginger (smashed)
-
25g Green Chillies, Finely Chopped

60g diced tomatoes
-
20g vegetable oil
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce
-
2 tbsp tomato sauce
-
2–3 pcs star anise
-
20 g salt
-
2 tsp black pepper powder
DIRECTION
- Preparing the Pork
Put the pork in a pressure cooker.<br>Add the required amount of salt, 2-star anise, 2 green chillies, 50 g onions, garlic, ginger, and 350 g water to the pork, and give it a boil.<br>Boil the pork on high flame for 30 minutes.<br>After 30 minutes, take out the pork from the Pressure cooker and keep it in the fridge for another 30 minutes, so that it can be cut easily.<br>When the pork is chilled, cut it into thin slices.
- Preparing the Chilli
Place a wok on high flame and preheat it.<br>Add vegetable oil to it then add one star anise, half the green chillies, and the sliced pork.<br>Stir fry the pork and toss it in intervals until the fat melts from the pork.<br>Continue tossing the pork for 4-5 more minutes.<br>Then add chopped bell papers and onions.<br>Fry the entire fish for 6 more minutes until the veggies softened.<br>Add green Chillies and tomatoes, and fry for two more minutes.<br>Finally, add all the sauces and black pepper. Toss the wok to combine all.<br>Garnish it with green onions.
NOTES
Instead of softening the pork in a Pressure Cooker, you can marinate to soften it as well.
While making the chilli, take a walk if you want an authentic chilli taste.
Preheating the work is important, do not skip this step.
